Largest stone Buddha in the world, Leshan City, CHINA
The Leshan Giant Buddha is the largest Budha stone statue in the world. It is located in the city Leshan, CHINA and the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. The Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
