The Panama Canal is a ship canal in Panama that connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.The Panama Canal Locks lift the ships from the Pacific Ocean up to Gatun Lake.It lifts the ships upto 85 Feets. This canal expansion project started in 2007. May be expected to complete in 2015.
