Architectural Heritage of INDIA, Jummah Masjid, Delhi

The Jama Masjid commonly known as Jummah Masjid is located in old Delhi, INDIA. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan (1650-1656 AD). The cost of construction was approximately 1Million Rs at that time. Shahjahan also built Red Fort apposite to Jummah Masjid. Here in festival time nearly about 25,000 people can pray at a time.
